The validity term of the electronic identity card extends until April 30, 2021

Normative Act No. 11, dated 25.03.2021 “On an amendment to law no. 8952, dated 10.10.2002,” On the electronic identity card of Albanian citizens “, as amended“.

Normative Act No. 11, dated 25.03.2021 was published in the Official Gazette no. 48, dated 26.03.2021, and entered into force immediately.

Law no. 8952/2002 “On the electronic identity card of Albanian citizens” article 9/2 is amended as follows:

“The validity period of the electronic identity card of Albanian citizens, which ends until April 25, 2021, is extended until April 30, 2021.”
